Introducing The Big Birdwatch Collection
Our complete range of Neds have been UKCA/CE tested and painted using water-based paints, certified toy safe, meeting all EU safety regulations.
Each Bird Ned is handcrafted from start to finish in our women run workshop in Bude, North Cornwall. We use the finest oak & walnut wood when creating all of our products. The unique, natural wood grains mean that each Ned can shine through with his own character. We will also try to create different smiles on each of the Neds to give them a slightly different personality.
Once the bird Neds has been assembled, he is lovingly coated in our Vegan friendly wax to help protect his wood and leave a soft matte finish. You can purchase your own pot of handmade wax from our website. We advise that you top up your Ned with a regular wax to help maintain the condition of the wood. You can add this to your cart by clicking here.
We also offer a Ned Spa treatment with various different packages available. This is a good option if your Ned needs a bit of love and attention to up make your Ned as good as new! You can find the different Ned Spa option available here.
All of the paint is sealed using a matte sealer to help maintain the condition of the paintwork when you take your Ned out on adventures and any bumps that he may have.
When finished, the Bird Neds stands at 8cm from head to toe, meaning he is the perfect size for small hands and big adventures! He travels to his new home in his own organic cotton gift bag, that is perfect for storing your Ned in and protects it on adventures. We have also added a luxury gift box option at checkout if you are gifting the Ned. This has an additional cost of £2.
Please note that designs and wood shade may differ slightly to the stock photo as every Ned is individually crafted and hand painted.
